GiftLegacy Awards Announced at PPGC 2016
Crescendo celebrated its annual Practical Planned Giving Conference on September 26th and 27th in Chicago. It was a great event attended by friends from all across the nation. They gathered to hear keynote speakers Sarah Durham and Jeff Comfort and an excellent line-up of the nation's top presenters. In addition, the GiftLegacy Award winners were announced.

eMarketer of the Year Award
Congratulations to Theresa Curry, Senior Director of Gift Planning at the University of New Hampshire, who received the 2016 eMarketer of the Year Award. Theresa has used Crescendo's GiftLegacy tools and services since 2014 and has booked over $52 million in planned gifts!

GiftLeader Award
Winton Smith received the 2016 GiftLeader Award for his outstanding leadership in philanthropy. He is a charitable estate attorney, a popular speaker at AFP, AHP, PPP, PPGC and the Heckerling Institute and a principal instructor for CASE gift planning seminars.
Best GiftLegacy Website Award
The GiftLegacy Website Award was presented to Buffalo State University. Their planned giving website features a rotating banner, friendly donor stories, engaging campus photos, a custom Peterson Society page and more! Congratulations also to Mercy Ships and Severn School who received Honorable Mention.
Best GiftLegacy Literature Award
The GiftLegacy Literature Award was presented to Clemson University for their branded suite of marketing materials, including custom postcards. Honorable Mention in this category was awarded to the University of New Hampshire and Casa Dorinda.



Best GiftLegacy Mission Video Award
The GiftLegacy Mission Video Award was given to University of South Florida. Their mission video features a contemporary design, campus photos with embedded video and branding that resonates with alumni and friends.
