Ashley A. BuderusAshley Buderus, Philanthropy Director of Gift Planning for Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation, has more than ten years progressive leadership experience in fund development for large nonprofit organizations. In her current role, Ashley often works with donors and their advisers to explore gift strategies with complex tax and legal implications that best meet their interests and needs. In addition, she shares the critical responsibility for helping define, create and implement a comprehensive gift planning program for the Foundation's team. Ashley also works closely with some of the region's top professional advisers, including members of the Legacy Planning Advisory Council, to further the mission of the Foundation and its impact on Children's Colorado.

Ashley’s prior experience included serving the University of Denver (DU) for more than seven years in a similar role, and the unique opportunity to serve on one of Colorado’s leading foundations, El Pomar Foundation, as the Fellowship Alumni Trustee and El Pomar Fellow. In that role she participated in a variety of outreach training programs for local charities, analyzed grant proposals, and directed nonprofit leadership training sessions across the state. She remains active with local nonprofit organizations and regularly speaks to organizations about enhancing their planned giving programs.

Ashley also sits on the advisory board of Quarterly Forum and the Denver Metro Council for El Pomar Foundation. She previously served on the board of Rocky Mountain Active 20-30. Ashley is a native of Colorado who remains active in nonprofit organizations, including serving as a regular speaker at local and national gatherings. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Denver and her master’s degree in nonprofit management from Regis University.
